Leadership Initiative
Farming needs a steady stream of new, effective leaders, and while well supported programmes already exist within agriculture, there remains a need to develop leadership further, to stretch the best talent and to expose our brightest people to the challenge of working with talented individuals from outside farming.
To this end the Trustees of The Farmers Club Charitable Trust are keen to work with other farming bodies to finance places on short residential courses, probably at the Windsor Leadership Trust, which offers week-long courses for participants from a variety of backgrounds.
By working with two other industry partners the FCCT hopes to place three potential leaders per year on separate iterations of this higher level leadership development course.
