As Members of the Club we have once again enjoyed an excellent staff team who have provided outstanding and gracious service over the whole of this year, writes Club Chairman Richard Butler.
In continuing a long tradition of the Club, I would ask you all to collectively express our thanks to them by contributing to the Farmers Club Christmas Fund – it is our opportunity to convey a token of our gratitude to them all and will be distributed to the staff team in time for Christmas.
This has been an extraordinary year for the Club. Project CREST has been an incredible achievement and yet, despite the disruption it has caused to almost all facets of Club business, I think that the service we have been given has been outstanding considering the circumstances. I have been especially impressed by the professionalism, confidence and motivation of the staff, not least on those occasions when the demands on them have been exceptional, and without full functionality of the Club facilities.
Service has been maintained via temporary kitchens, washing areas and despite sometimes tortuous routes around the Club! Without exception, it has been delivered with style and courtesy commensurate with the expectations of members.
Rooms continue to be upgraded and are of an immaculate standard of cleanliness and decoration owing to the hard work of the maintenance and housekeeping teams, facts commented upon to me by a multitude of members.
I do hope that you share my sentiments and give generously to the people who look after us so well.
