Head Chef Paul Hogben’s inspiring menu celebrates all that is best about British food as Spring approaches. It also champions firm Club favourites, many of which make the most of winter game, which has proved to be extremely popular over recent months.
The sharing platter of Venison Scotch Egg, Gamekeepers Parcel, Rabbit Brawn, Pheasant, Prune and Bacon Sausage, Wild Boar Salami and Farmers Piccalilli is particularly appealing.
Other favorites such as The Farmers Club Homemade Scotch Egg and Welsh Rarebit with Snowdonia Black Bomber cheese still feature too, and can be ordered in the Restaurant or Bar.
Amongst a host of delicious new dishes available for lunch or dinner why not try Smoked Cod Loin with Spinach, Poached Hen’s Egg and Mustard Cream to start, followed by Guinea Fowl, Woodland Mushroom Mousse and Creamed Spring Greens with Bacon, and Champagne Rhubarb and Bramley Apple Charlotte with Custard Sauce to finish?
Equally appealing could be Gurnard Fillet, Jerusalem Artichoke, Walnut and Chive Salad to begin with, then Pan Roast Sea Bream, Crab Potato Cake and Tomato Butter, followed by Rice Pudding Flan, Stewed English Berries and Clotted Cream.
