Great news for Club members visiting London – a deal has been struck with the company managing the underground car park at Spring Gardens just off Trafalgar Square.
Q-Park Trafalgar is an underground car park just five minutes from the Farmers Club and close to West End theatres, shops and attractions such as the National Gallery. It has security features including newly installed automatic speed gates to keep vehicles safe and secure.
The Farmers Club is pleased to be able to offer all its members and clients discounted parking with Q-Park, our preferred parking partner. Discounts of 20% are available on the day and on pre-bookings. To receive your pre-booking discount visit www.q-park.co.uk and go to the London Trafalgar Square car park page, click on Pre-Booking and enter the promotional code FARM when making your booking.
Alternatively, take advantage of a 20% discount for parking on the day. Simply park your car, take a ticket and collect the 20% discount card from the Farmers Club reception desk. To exit the car park place the entry ticket into the pay machine, then press the ‘follow-up ticket’ button, followed by the discounted ticket to reduce the tariff.
“The need for car parking near to the Club was an issue highlighted at the Past U30s Chairmen weekend organised by the Chairman here in the Club and through our recent Members Survey. I am delighted to be able to make this benefit available to members,” said Club Chief Executive and Secretary, Stephen Skinner.
The car park (at SW1A 2TS) has 205 spaces, with four Electric Car Charging Points and 58 motorcycle spaces. The maximum vehicle height is 1.95m (6ft) – making it suitable for most cars, MPVs and 4x4s. Entrance and exit is possible 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The discounted rates for pre-booked parking work out at £5.20 for 1 hour, £10.40 for 2 hours, £15.60 for 3 hours, £20.80 for 4 hours and £30.40 for 24 hours (correct March 2015).
Members wishing to drop-off outside the Club before parking should note that Whitehall Court is subject to yellow line restrictions. Provided there is no loading ban in force (check for yellow markings on the kerb) loading or unloading must be continuous and visible at all times or a Penalty Charge Notice may be issued, especially if the vehicle is left unattended.
Also, vehicles driven within central London between 07:00 and 18:00, Monday to Friday, will be subject to the Congestion Charge of £11.50/day (correct March 2015) – see link: http://www.tfl.gov.uk/modes/driving/congestion-charge ).
