The latest Farmers Club Journal takes a detailed look at some of the key drivers behind the sector, including climate change and farming’s role in solving it, biodiversity net gain and the scope to profit from it, and the fast-growing market for carbon credits.

 

Arriving with members in late-April the Journal includes a round-up of highly successful activities organised by the Club, plus details of a new initiative to instal a key-card system for all Club rooms. Six new Committee members are also profiled.

 

The Under 35s group reports on its Chairman’s Dinner, where the guest speaker delivered a fascinating insight into large-scale dairy farming in the desert.
